Proverbs 3:1-2 is a passage in the Bible that reads: “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.”
In this passage, the writer of Proverbs (traditionally believed to be King Solomon) addresses his son and encourages him to remember and follow the wisdom and guidance that he has received. The writer tells his son that if he holds onto and obeys the commandments of God, he will be rewarded with a long and peaceful life.
These verses can be interpreted as a call to remember and follow the teachings of God in order to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. They encourage us to seek wisdom and to obey God’s laws and commands as a way to find direction and purpose in life.
