Wisdom Gives Pleasure, Strengthen, and Appreciation
Proverbs 2:10 Updated American Standard Version (UASV)
10 for wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;
The words of 2:10 imply that you must develop an eager, intense, passionate, and enthusiastic desire for accurate knowledge, which can affect your heart and your very soul. Because seeking and searching for wisdom requires consistent effort, it will not be desirable at first but will, in time, be an enjoyable experience. It is an acquired taste, and it will enter your heart, your innermost person. The undesirable effort spent discovering the truths initially will become delightful in time. Wisdom gives pleasure, strength, and appreciation in life. Once you get a taste for wisdom, the more you learn, the more you will desire and enjoy it. Wisdom will not only show how to behave responsibly, but it will also be a delight in doing so. We want to get the point in our lie when Godly wisdom has control over us, as it guides us subconsciously. We want to go beyond it filling our head and move to the point where it enters the heart and has a dominating power and impact upon us. When we become biblically minded, we will find Godly wisdom doing us good. There will come the point when our wisdom brings us delight, when knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
