Just three days before Jesus was executed, Jesus told his disciples, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the inhabited earth[1] as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14) Jesus would speak on this again just before he ascended to heaven, Jesus said to his disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations … teaching them to observe all that I commanded you …” (Matt 28:19-20)
